09MnNiDR steel ‘s main alloying elements are manganese (Mn) and nickel (Ni). Manganese strengthens the steel through solid solution strengthening, while nickel improves ferrite’s low-temperature toughness and significantly reduces the ductile-to-brittle transition temperature, enhancing its performance in cold environments.
