Properties of Jianglin aluminum Blister Foil

Barrier Properties: It has excellent barrier properties against moisture, oxygen, and other external factors. The oxygen barrier function is crucial for drugs that are sensitive to oxidation. By blocking the entry of oxygen, it helps maintain the drug’s potency and stability.
Flexibility: The aluminum foil is highly flexible. It can be easily formed into various shapes and sizes to fit different drug packaging requirements.
Light-blocking ability: it provides excellent light – blocking properties. Many drugs are photosensitive, and exposure to light can lead to chemical degradation. The aluminum foil can prevent light from reaching the drug and thus safeguard its chemical integrity.

PTP Medicine Aluminum Foil

PTP aluminum foil is primarily made from 8011-H18 or 8011-O aluminum foil. It is used for flat-lay applications, with a typical thickness ranging from 0.016 mm to 0.04 mm.

Blister Medicine Aluminum Foil

Commonly known as cold-formed foil, blister aluminum foil is typically made from 8021-O aluminum foil. It is designed for premium, moisture-resistant, and light-blocking drug packaging, with thicknesses ranging from 0.04 mm to 0.065 mm.

Tropical Medicine Aluminum Foil

Tropical aluminum foil combines thermoformed plastic blisters, PTP aluminum foil, and an additional layer of cold-formed aluminum foil on the outer surface. Primarily made from 8021-O or 8079-O aluminum foil, it is a high-end material used in pharmaceutical packaging
