Tata Steel appointed the first global managing director

On the October 31, Tata Steel announced that the appointment of T.V. Narendran as its first Global Managing Director (MD). This is a completely new position.

It is reported that Na Lunde Lan is 51 years old, November 1, 2013 began as Tata Steel Managing Director of India and Southeast Asia. He joined Tata Steel after graduating in 1988 as a mechanical engineer. His career at Tata Steel spans across areas including marketing, international trade, supply chain planning, operations and general management roles.

“Over the past four years, under the leadership of Narendran, the company successfully built and commissioned one of India’s largest greenfield projects named the Kalinganagar steel plant, and also increased its production and the ability of supply higher value automotive steel. ” Tata Steel said.
