Reuters reported that the U.S. Commerce Department said on Tuesday it would impose anti-dumping and countervailing duties on steel products originating in China which were exported to the United States via Vietnam. This measure is to evade the existing U.S. tariffs on Chinese products.
The U.S. Department of Commerce announced that it will impose anti-dumping duties of 199.43% and anti-subsidy of 39.05%, on corrosion-resistant steel products exported from Vietnam, which using Chinese substrates; and also it will impose anti-dumping duties of 265.79% and anti-subsidy of 265.44%, on cold-rolled steel products exported from Vietnam, which using Chinese substrates.
